PINC Cancer Rehabilitation

What is PINC Cancer Rehabilitation?

At Core Physio and Pilates, we have certified PINC physiotherapists (Morgan Williams + Nicole Fleiszig) who have completed further training in cancer rehabilitation. The PINC program is a specialised rehabilitation program dedicated to improving the strength, quality of life and sense of wellbeing of females diagnosed with cancer.

An initial assessment with one of our PINC physiotherapists will aim to come up with an individualised treatment plan which will be tailored to your  goals, current level of function, previous level of function, diagnosis and prognosis.

Sessions may include a combination of hands-on physiotherapy to regain full joint range of motion, mobilisation of scar tissue, breathing retraining, and fatigue management. Sessions may also involve individualised clinical Pilates and/or exercise prescription to improve general strength and fitness.
